Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Mindy Hardwick I get the ideas for my books from the places around me that I love. For example, my Elmheart series novellas published in Romance for All Seasons all take place in an old hotel in Rochester, New York. The hotel burned in the early 1990's but it is still very much alive in my stories! The same is true in my Cranberry Bay series. I love the North Oregon Coast and the small towns of Wheeler and Nehalam seemed perfect to set a series around that has a lot of vintage antiques!
