What was the first romance you ever read?

Erica Ridley Once a Princess by Johanna Lindsey. I remember being completely enthralled from beginning to end. From that moment on, I was addicted to historical romance. I devoured the rest of her backlist, then moved on to the other great J's of the period: Judith McNaught, Julie Garwood, Jude Deveraux. I owned every historical romance those ladies ever wrote, and I read many of them multiple times!
