To make a go of writing, you have to obsessed with it. As in, you get up in the morning and can't wait to write. As in, you think about what you are writing even when you are not at your type writer or computer. If you do not have this passion, then choose another avocation, because for most writers and authors, writing is not a lucrative endeavor.
