Emily Savage
Emily Savage asked Gail Carson Levine:

Do you just sit down and write, or do you plan and outline your books? What's your writing process?

Gail Carson Levine I do a little of both. You can find out much more about my methods (or lack of) on my blog.

More Answered Questions

Liz Driggers
Liz Driggers asked Gail Carson Levine:

Ella Enchanted has been my favorite book since I was ten, and I reread it every few months! On average, how long does it take you to write a book? Which comes first, the plot or the moral of the story?

Rachel
Rachel asked Gail Carson Levine:

Are the Bamarre people a metaphor for Jews?

Hannah M.
Hannah M. asked Gail Carson Levine:

Hi, several months ago you gave me Milo, a thrown out character from Fairest to use on my forgotten island. I was wondering if it would be okay if I were to acknowledge in the story that you made him, or maybe just your initials on him somewhere? I would like to be able to acknowledge at least at the back that you helped me with it and made Milo, and I hope that it's alright if I at least do that. Again thanks.
