I started this book wanting to be filled with holiday cheer, but did anyone else get the ick when it came to the kidnapping and bondage scene? It felt like Tella never gave consent and was really uncomfortable most of the time. Am I misunderstanding something? Did anyone else feel the same way?

I one starred this book for this exact reason. The cover sells a different idea of what the content is and it gave me a big ick.
