There were a countless number of inspirations for DtO, but the thing that sparked it all into motion was literally a meme I saw while scrolling through Imgur one day.
As far as timing, it took about two years from start to finish, but a good amount of the characters were created before I started the story and were adapted to fit into it, so... idk maybe that counts into the overall timing?
