Goodreads asked B.K. Bradshaw:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

B.K. Bradshaw Occasionally I get writer's block because my writing has ventured off into a place that isn't related to the central theme or my purpose for writing the story. First, I take a break from writing and do something active to clear my mind. Then, I often go back to thinking about the things that inspired me to write the story and get into that motivated mindset. For example, spending time with my daughters on adventures (hiking, riding horses) makes me want to write.
