I really love Jackman and Evans Series, and narration by Richard Armitage. Can’t wait to see Richard on screen as Jackman. My question is how did you do your research to write such detailed police crime investigations?

Hi Jeffrey I am rather lucky to have a retired police officer for a partner! So, all police and judicial procedure are thoroughly vetted before anyone else ever gets to see the manuscript. I also love the research side of writing (even if it is like disappearing down a rabbit hole on occasions) and I watch developments in things like forensic science and criminal psychology very carefully. I'm delighted that you like the series, and like you, cannot wait to see what our lovely Richard does with Jackman. Just wish these things didn't take SO long in the planning! Take care, Joy

Hi Joy, your story about the airfield out on the Fens, reminds me of when I was driving near Boston on a narrow country road. This was in early 1968, it was close to midnight on a cold clear night. What I saw in the near distance appeared to be searchlights and WW2 aircraft plus what looked like explosions. I thought a film was being made. Research couldn't support this. Ghosts?
