I wait for an idea to come to me. Sometimes it’s from my own life. For example, Trail of Broken Wings was inspired by my own story of being raised in domestic violence and Storyteller’s sprung from my grandmother’s tragic death. Other times the idea comes from nowhere and then I have to spend days flushing it out! :)
