I'm asking a lot of questions, but you are doing some fascinating things, One thing which intrigues me, right now is, I've gotten something like 4 (or was it 5), notifications of new books coming out within a period of about 5 weeks. How are you able to produce so many books in such a short period of time, and still keep them fresh and keep the quality (Cover art, internal editing, writing, etc.) on the high end?
J.N. Chaney
Hi Tim,
I work with several cowriters who are able to contribute and help write the books at a consistent pace. I spend about 70 hours a week working, most of which goes into planning, outlining, writing, and editing. We have a full staff to assist in the backend production work, including a lead editor, proofreader, beta reader team, an art director, project manager, marketing director, and virtual assistant. As the needs have grown, we've had to expand accordingly. We also remain an independent publishing studio with no outside funding or support, so every book that gets bought goes directly to help our group of writers, artists, and staffers continue to deliver more quality books.
Let me know if you have any other questions. Sorry for the delayed answer, too. I didn't see it until today.

Thanks for answering! Yes I used your timeline on your website to clean up the series order here on goodreads. The question however is that it's not clear the timeline order for the books in the MTL Renegade Star starting from book 12 and the Fifth Column books? Renegade Star book 12 is about at the same time as Fifth Column book one, however there 4 more book after book 12 of renegade star.

J.N. Chaney:
My search for the Variant Saga or even for the individual books has been fruitless. Regardless which link I click on, I cannot locate this series in EPUB format. KOBO books, especially, shows no books by JN Chaney which is very unfortunate since they seem to be the only ones to have books in EPUB format. Any idea where I may locate the books to purchase? I presently own a KOBO book reader. Thanks all....
