Trio asked Leta Blake:

I just wanted to tell you how much I'm enjoying SMD. I love the way you wrote the book from both of their perspectives but when it is being told by either Jesse or Christopher you still get a feeling of how the other is reacting to everything. Sorry, I know this is not a question? ;)

Leta Blake Hi! I'm sorry that I'm just seeing this. I usually get a notice from Goodreads when someone leaves a question, but this time I didn't. :) And no worries about there being no actual question. I'm always happy to hear from readers and am thrilled that you enjoyed the book! The alternating point of view is always a fun way to write a book. Sometimes it's also cool to just write one person's point of view. That can be a real challenge because you are forced to show what the other person is thinking via their words and actions alone. That can add an element of mystery and excitement to the book. For Jesse and Christopher, though, I thought there was plenty of mystery and external pre-existing challenges to not need that extra one of not seeing the inside of both character's heads. :) Thank you again for letting me know you enjoyed it! :)
