Yes, they both deal with the aftermath of a teenager dying. The main difference is Liz, in Between, is a ghost trying to figure out how she died, and Sam, in Before I Fall, is reliving a single day over and over again, with the chance to change things. They are both AMAZING books! They're the type of book you think about for a long time afterwards!
