Hi Datta.
Firstly take a deep breathe and relax. Always important.
Secondly. There are those that do well planning things out, organising every minut detail before writing and then telling the story as per their prepared script. I would call these holistic writers, and there is nothing at all wrong with that. That is their preferred writing style.
Like you, I start with the story in my head, and then I begin writing. Unlike holistic writers, I do not always start at the beginning, but perhaps at a part of the plot that just happens to be very graphic in my mind. I then write that down and continue from there. What I often find, is that just by having one part written, the others follow.
One other thing I find is that the plot often changes, and I go with that. If my story seems to be going in a different direction than the one I had originally planned at the start, then so be it, just in your head adjust your overall story. Be flexible and just enjoy the ride. Your story will be better for it rather than trying to force your storyline back on course. - more a 'lets see where the story takes us'
It sounds to me as though you are more like myself, while feeling you have to be a holistic writer. Sit down, and write the one scene that is foremost in your mind, then take it from there. If you find another scene starts to demand to be written...then go with it.
When I write Datta, I have so many different scenes done, it often seems that they will never be connected, but you know what...they do, they get there and often it is easier because I know where I am starting and where I am ending. Once you have enough of your book done, you will find ways of connecting them.
Good luck to you, and remember to have fun and follow your own preferred writing style
Best wishes
