Goodreads asked Joshua P. Strychalski:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Joshua P. Strychalski Write. It sounds weird to say that you write to deal with writer's block, but sitting down at the desk and writing can free me up. Sometimes the flow of words is slow, but it can be like the first rocks tumbling in an avalanche.

I think that writer's block comes from an empty storehouse of ideas. If I'm not stocking that storehouse everyday, then I'm going to run out of ideas. But if I pay attention to people or take part in activities, I should have more than enough raw material to use when I sit down at the desk at night.
