How do you get inspired to write?

Stuart Jaffe Some days, admittedly, you won't feel too inspired. What differentiates a writer from a non-writer -- the writer writes anyway. Inspired or not, the writer does the work. Word by word. Sentence by sentence. Until the job is done. So, I don't do anything to get inspired. The days I feel it strongly are great and flow wonderfully. The days I don't -- I sit down, stare at the screen, bang my head on my desk, and write anyway.
