I really enjoyed "Walk Me Home." Where did you get the idea for the book, especially about the Native American aspect of it?

Hi Brandy. I do a lot of RV travel and camping, and I just fell in love with that part of the world. The landscape, the history and tradition. It's the second time the Native American lands in AZ made their way into my writing. My first novel, Funerals for Horses, was also set there (in great part).

Many authors who write so many books tend to get sloppy and lose their spark. How do you keep your writing fresh? I have reviewed your last two books and have enjoyed them. I find them to be fast reads but there always seems to be a lesson learned from the book. I found Bea to be an exception character.
