Does anyone else feel a little iffy about the fact that disabled/disfigured people are used to create a sense of unease and horror in some of these stories? It feels a tad ableist to me when Enriquez has clearly shown she can already write creepy and horrific stories without having to reply on potentially harmful and outdated horror tropes?
