Carla I agree. It made no sense to me. Now, I have no interest in reading anything more from this author. Who's next? The next series character?
Eva Mira I wish I had never read this book. It feels like the author is torturing this character, I feel complicit reading it. He lost me with this senselessness.
Jim Towle Main character of this novel didn't die. A character from the previous novel died. And yes, that character was central to the previous novel, but not this novel. He was also dysfunctional and either had to "Come to Jesus" or... Mr. Box chose to sacrifice a complicated and dysfunctional character in order to focus on a new, more interesting character.
Roxanne HE DID NOT KILL OFF THE MAIN CHARACTER... did you read the whole book, and all the others in the series.... crikey
