Alma (retirement at last)

I’m no prude and know enough about sex without having it described to me on every f*****g page. How does that make for a “great” novel? I’m an avid reader and so have plenty of literary fiction to compare it with and it doesn’t come close to other novels I’ve read. I sometimes think just because we are spoon fed that someone is a “great” writer, many feel the need to agree.
