Lori Miller asked this question about All the Colors of the Dark:
Contains spoilers: I was confused over the Nix and Tooms tie in. So, they were in a relationship but why did Nix keep it from Saint for so long? It wasn’t like she was anti-abortion, or homophobic. I think it was revealed too late in the book. I was so upset when Patch was incarcerated over Jimmy’s death and then we find out it could have all been prevented. I get that Patch needed to meet the young prisoner though.
