Goodreads asked Adana Presley:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Adana Presley Plan, outline, and write. Most, myself included, writers will say "but I can't do an outline," this is important for helping the writer see where the story is going, what may need to be changed, and what information needs to be kept track of. Always have an idea of how the book will end, it may vary once the writer gets there but having an idea is like leaving a trail from the end to middle to beginning and back. If you can smoothly connect your ending with things in the beginning then you've done a very good job of weaving the story through.
