Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Jessie McClain Sparks Ignite stemmed from the first book of The Dreamcatchers Saga, Awakening Iris. I had a favorite character in there, Ian. And I wanted Ian's story to be delved into a little more than Awakening Iris would allow. I wanted readers to be able to get into his mind and know him the way that I do and appreciate his honesty and abrasiveness. From the prologue the rest of Ian's story just fell into place. He is a perfect example of what happens when someone so careless and blunt can meet with someone that is his polar opposite.
