What a fun question :) I actually stayed away from trying to date it on purpose as it is meant to be read more as a "timeless" Fairy Tale rather than a modern love story.
But If I had to say, I would say sometime in mid-late 00's :)

Never in my LIFE have I ever obsessed over a book the way I did for A Bedtime Story. I have told EVERY single one of my book friends about this book and urged them to buy a copy for themselves. What was the inspiration for the story of Alexei and Aniska? Was it based on another folk tale? It was so well written it felt like a perfect pairing with Laura and Kayne's story.
