Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Percival Constantine SoulQuest actually began life years ago as a planned comic book series. Unfortunately it never quite panned out, but the idea stuck with me. It originally began when an artist approached me about working on a project, and his style reminded me of some of the PlayStation RPGs I loved, like Final Fantasy VII and Xenogears. So I looked to them as my inspiration, creating a fantasy world and populating it with characters that would fit into that same kind of style.
