Could I potentially start the infected series at book 3? I read book 1 and was heartbroken about what would happen in the next book that I never continued the series. I have been thinking about getting back into the series though and was wondering would you recommend me against skipping book 2?

Andrea Speed To be honest, I don't blame you at all. Book 2 is a lot, and it was kind of hard for me to write. Please pick up the series at #3. You'll know what happened - oh boy, will you - but you won't put yourself through it, and the story is very easy to pick up.
