How do you balance writing with your day job? Did you go to school for writing?

Hi! :) I did not go to school for writing. When it comes to balancing, I try to make routines and schedules for myself, and stick with it. Monday & Wednesdays are for writing. If I'm on deadline, I'll wake up hours before my day job to get book work done. It's not always easy, but it is always worth it.
