What advice would you give to a writer, who is working full time and struggling to find the time and energy to focus on their writing?

Something I struggled with. The first twenty pages of White Light Red Fire were completed in about 2000. It wasn't finished until 2019 when I was semi retired. Thinking back if I had been given this advice back then it would have been completed much sooner. "Write one page a day and by the end of the year you will have a 365 page book (366 pages some years.)" I would add to that advice - don't worry about the quality of each page just keep the story moving. You can tidy it all up during editing when you have the complete story. Hope that helps a little.
