Hi Mr Brown! I recently read Book of Doors and today I just started reading your new book! I gave TBoD 5 stars so am excited about this one. One or the other is probably going to be my favorite book this year (TBoD is so far!) I just turned 17 and was wondering what kind of books were your favorite when you were my age? (I always love getting recommendations from authors I love). Also, are you working on a new book?

Gareth Brown Hi Caleb - thank you for reading my books! So pleased that you enjoyed them. When I was your age I was reading a lot horror fiction. Authors like Stephen King, Robert R McCammon, James Herbert, Ramsey Campbell and Peter Straub. I also started to read a lot of commercial thrillers at that age, as well as literature classics (I did a literature degree at University). Basically I think read whatever you want but try to read widely. And yes - I am working on a new book right now!

I’m genuinely upset that there’s no Book of Doors for me to obtain with which to travel anywhere. This book is, simply put, PHENOMENAL. I truly hope you’ll write a sequel so that I can continue the journey please? Thank you for this magical story Mr. Brown. The imagery within those pages is masterfully captured. Loved every single second with this book!

Being an avid reader, I don't usually stalk follow an author with this much enthusiasm...but you're book has shot to my top 3 in less than a month. I read about 100-150 books a year....I've ready your book twice since I've gotten it. I am in love with this story. I am not just hoping for another book...I am hoping for a series along the lines of a Harry Potter type of series. Books, movies, theme parks..Please?

Hi Gareth, A fantastic read! I actually did not read it :-) listened to the audiobook, great voice acting. Did you read "The Unmaking of June Farrow"? I read that before this one, I thought it was great, and any book following it will be less good, but The Book of Doors was as good, I think even better. Congrats on a great first step as a writer.
