Isla asked Millie Florence:

What part about being a young writer did you find the hardest?

Millie Florence The ever-present uncertainty. It's pretty hard to pursue something you love SO MUCH with no guarantee of success. It makes you start wondering if dreams are really worth dreaming, even if they don't come true. I ended up exploring this theme in my book The Balter of Ashton Harper, into which I poured all my doubts and worries and feelings about chasing a career in the arts at such a young age.
