I agree! I miss them too, and have definitely heard from readers on my August book tour for KISS HER GOODBYE they want more! I will continue to brainstorm the right case for DD and Flora’s return. So probably not a 2026 release, but stay tuned.

D.D. Warren is one of my favorite female leads. I recommend the series to anyone and everyone looking for a series. Perhaps the reason I like her so much is because, like you, she says and does all the things I know I can't. Teaching English in high school is also pretty boring. And I have to filter my mouth. :) Do you have an established number of books for the series?
