I would love a stand alone story about the Haileys, and what about Kat Brewster? Will we ever hear more about them? What about Lettie and Porschia? I love the stories about Jake Brigance as well.

Jake is my favorite character and Ford County is my favorite setting. I’m sure I’ll go back there again. Portia is an especially appealing character to center a novel around.

Hi John, Huge fan - I've been reading your books since the early 90s and never miss a release. The Partner has to be one of my favorites and I've probably read it a dozen times. Just curious if there are any plans on revisiting Patrick/Eva like you have with some of your other earlier books/characters in recent years? That ending has kept me awake at night - was Eva abducted or did she run?
