My summer reading list five years ago was probably as random as it is this year, mainly focusing on old favourites such as almost anything by Tanith Lee. Also a new one, "The King's Shilling" by Sydney Acorn might be worth a look.
I recently re-read Anne of Green Gables and was entranced by Lucy Maud Montgomery's beautiful observations of the seasons and landscapes of King Edward Island, which made me want to go there.
