What do people make of the ending? I know it's supposed to be open ended--but, are we meant to assume the most simple explanations, i.e. that the neighbor probably was responsible for the disappearance of the little girl? And that Lucy's mom committed suicide because of her husband's affair? Or do people think there's more to it? I also wasn't sure what to make of the fact that the neighbor had pictures of Alix.
