(view spoiler)[Has Eric ever considered making another Bronze—perhaps a dog version, or just even a more permanent dog companion? While they don’t seem to last, Eric seems to enjoys dogs; I believe he’s had several over time. He had security dogs in his first book with Sasha. Then in book three (I think), he got Francine, another dog for protection. Much later, he got Gus. (hide spoiler)]

Nope. Creating Bronze was done in a moment of need and required more of his personal spirit than he realized. He's not further subdividing his essence unless he absolutely has to.

I'm so depressed about Bronze. Also I got a Dark Tower series ending vibe from reading the initial book. It seems like Eric eventually goes back in time to original Earth to set his future up, and Eric will simple go around in a very very long but endless circle.
First, I miss Bronze. Is she really gone?
Second, am I even remotely close on your planned ending?

Just finished reading luna and the genetic selection in the book got be thinking. Could Halar grab DNA from an alternate reality version of himself, make it as genetically perfect as possible, then splice it with 1st gen elf DNA to get the best of both species, then turn that soulless uber body into a nightlord and transfer his soul into it. Then, could he vampircally eat his old body to absorb all of its power?

Listening to the series again and if I recall the New Lord of Light known later as the Boogem/Boojum (spelling unknown) and believed to be similar to the other constructs Eric theorizes as Angels. While listening to Knightfall again during the fight scene between the two, the Boogem/Boojum claims to be the most powerful of his kind and first created, does that make him the Morning Star aka Lucifer?
