Hey Rodkey, I like your Tapper Twins books. Just out of curiosity, for Tapper Twins #2 did you Photoshop the shirt text onto the cat plushies? Also a bit random but what brand were they? I'm not forcing you to answer this but I was just interested. Crazy how one of those cats got mangled.

Geoff Rodkey Hello! Sorry it took me five months to notice this question. I didn't Photoshop the shirts--I had a tailor custom-make "CULVERT PREP" T-shirts that I put on the cat plushies. No recollection of what brand they were -- I just googled "cat mascots" and chose the dumbest-looking one. The cat mangling took more work than you might think. I drove over the mangled cat repeatedly, but they're plushies, so they hold up pretty well when driven over. I also wound up having to use food coloring to make the stains look more impressive. I still have the mangled cat in a Ziploc bag somewhere.
