Hi James, I'm on my third read of the Will of the Many and it hits every time I read it. I also want to add that I am a Nethgalla apologist and hope when you revisit Licanius you come back to her! My question is: Does music inspire your writing, and if so do you listen to music while you write/ what music do you listen to?
James Islington
Thanks, that's awesome to hear!
I definitely use music to set my mental mood, sometimes - I don't habitually listen while I write, but do a lot while I'm planning out scenes in my head (often while I'm out on a walk to start the day). For that, I listen to a lot of fairly dramatic, epic instrumental stuff - Audiomachine are probably heaviest in the rotation these days. Particularly enjoying their song 'We Will Get Through This' for a particular scene at the moment!

How certain is it that Euan Morton will return as the narrator for Book II? His name is still not mentioned on Audible. While I am not a primary audiobook reader (I only do re-reads), I can't imagine someone else doing the voices. He was literally perfect for the story. Do you know more? Also, are there any plans for a Dramatized Edition or a illustrated version of the book?

Hi James! My husband and I love The Will of the Many! I’m trying to get him into The Licanius series while we wait for the next book. I’m an illustrator and would love to do some WotM fanart after my deadlines, but while reading, I kept thinking it would make a great graphic novel. Do you have any plans for that? (If yes, I’d love to throw my name in the hat 😄)

I just started reading the book, and honestly I am very impressed. Not very many books catch my attention and hold it as this one has. One of my favorite questions to ask authors is "What is the origin of this story you are telling?" I like to keep that in mind as I read a book. Do you mind answering that one for me?
