John Grisham:
Hi John, I've been a huge fan since The Partner came out when I was 12. A more recent book that I really loved was The Reckoning. I really think this was the most epic of your books given the different time periods and the way the plot was given room to develop. What motivated you to right this book in this way and would you ever take a similar approach to a different story?
John Grisham
Thanks. This is one of my favorites. It was inspired by a true story of a similar killing in a small town on Mississippi in the 1930’s. The murderer refused to explain his motives, and he was fried in the electric chair.

Hello. I have been reading your books since The Firm. I have been hooked ever since. While I have loved them all, a couple of favorites include The Painted House and The Rooster Bar, and Skipping Christmas. Of course, The Firm, and A Time to Kill are CLASSICS in my eyes. How do you draw the readers in so fast and hold our attention so well? I try and read other authors, but none “read” as smooth as you! Sincerely Lori
