What does your writing process look like and what tools do you use? For example, do you have a “murder board” as seen in crime TV shows? Notecards? Hand write initially or type? Thanks for your response!

It’s quite simple. I start each morning at 7:30ish on an Apple lap top with the goal of writing 1000 words before noon. The office is quiet – no phones, no fax, no internet, no music, no noise. No murder boards but a lot of notes. Nothing but strong black coffee. After so many books, I still love the morning ritual of creating.
