Hi Mr. Gibbs! I know this is a bit random, but are, by any chance, a fan of Tim Burton's movies? He's my favorite filmmaker. I was also wondering if you like Agatha Christie books? Thanks in advance.

Stuart Gibbs I do like Agatha Christie a lot. (It's hard to be a mystery writer and not be a fan of what she brought to the genre.) As for Tim Burton... well, I liked his early films, but I have to admit that there may not be another filmmaker who has made so many films that I have disliked over the past thirty years: Mars Attacks! Sweeney Todd. Planet of the Apes. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Alice in Wonderland. At this point, if he directs a movie, that's pretty much a cue for me to not watch it.

What is your favorite point of view to write in? I know your books are written from differing perspectives (although we have yet to see a book written in second person :p) but I wondered if you favored one or the other. I personally like to write in the first person, but that’s just a preference. (By the way I know 2nd person books are really hard to do and HATE writing from that POV.) Thanks for all that you write!
