What's the chronology in the books past the Silvan series? Same as the publication order (Order of Shirán -> Dawn of Adakia) or is that irrelevant? I'd be returning to the series and I want to avoid spoilers/anachronisms by choosing the wrong order.

Hello, I don't understand the difference between the short and the long road to Valley. The short road, as I understand it, s through a violent death or a death in battle?! But then what is the long road?
