I loved the firm! I am from burb of Memphis and have wondered why you chose the southern town of Memphis. Why did you chose Memphis to have the character to move to and all the basic drama he encounters?
John Grisham
I, too, grew up in a Memphis burb. Southaven, Mississippi. Memphis was our playground and I know the city well. I set The Firm there because it was the only city I knew.
