She's the main character, and there's Kai who's supposed to kill her, but he just can't do it, even though the king told him to. In my opinion, the continuation of the "forbidden love" trope is highly probable. The male character's inability to harm the female character and the lack of development in the relationship between Paedyn and Kitt, particularly considering the limited perspective provided through only Kai's point of view, suggest that Kai holds greater significance in the narrative.(less)
