Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Sara Petrie For the past 10 years or so, I've been gobbling up reverse harem / why choose fantasy novels. Adding them to Goodreads recently, I discovered I read over 200 already! (wow!)

I thoroughly enjoy them. But. As a 30-something mom of 3 kids (42 years nowadays, hush, don't tell), I sometimes have a hard time identifying with the 20-something FMC.

Yes. I love a good academy trope. Also? I thought it might be awesome to read about a kick-ass mom in her 30's, finding herself smackdab in the middle of a hot why choose fated mates situation all of a sudden. She's married for f-sake! Her husband's been keeping a secret though...
