Beck asked Renae Kaye:

I do find your 'author unknown' shelf a little disturbing ... we know that E.S. Skipper was a fraud but are you saying that every author who uses a pen name is as bad as that person?

Renae Kaye Definitely not. Not saying this at all.

What I am saying is the person that wrote this book is not the person I was led to believe. I would use another word, but it is rather strong. Perhaps this shelf is misnamed, I know. Perhaps you could suggest another name? "Person who hurt me"? "Author who fooled me"?

I'm upset at this author for their ruse. I think if I was given this book for free I would read it, because I am to understand it isn't a bad story. But there is no way I would want this person to further profit from something that they didn't pay for in the first place.

Cheers,
Renae
