What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Tara Sivec JUST DO IT! I've heard from so many people that they wish they could write a book; they have a few ideas in their head; it's something they've always dreamed of...you never know what will happen unless you try. The hardest part is coming up with an idea and having the motivation to sit down and begin that first sentence. Don't worry about what other people will think. Don't worry about what other people will say. Write for YOU and you alone. Write because you HAVE to. Write because you can't think of doing anything else. I have a tattoo on my arm with one of my favorite quotes from Sylvia Plath - "I write only because there is a voice within me that will not be still." If your head is full of voices and stories, share them!
