I saw the ad on Epic Reads for the first 7 chapters, and wow! I only wish I had seen it a month from now so I wouldn't have to wait for the rest! I'm stoked, that's the only way to say it. How long did it take you to get the story onto the page? And does Mare rhyme with "air" or is it "mah-ray" like the lava plains on the moon? Thanks!!

Victoria Aveyard Sorry for the wait, but we're almost there! :) And Mare is pronounced like "air". As for how long it takes me to write, the first draft of RQ took a little over six months, and then several months of editing. Book 2 was a little longer, about six months of writing (finished in July) and just sent in a round of edits on December 30th.
