Hi Monica, After reading Hello From the Gallespies, I want to read your previous books. Should I read them in sequence or as I find them? I would also like to know which was your favorite book of all that were published? I'm so pleased to have discovered your writings.

Monica McInerney Hello from Dublin, Rosemary, and thanks very much for reading Hello from the Gillespies, I'm so pleased too that you have discovered my writings! Most of my other 11 books are stand alone so can be read as you find them. 4 of my books are linked: Upside Down Inside Out and the sequel Spin the Bottle (called Greetings from Somewhere Else in the USA); The Alphabet Sisters and the sequel Lola's Secret. Of all my books, I do have a soft spot for The Alphabet Sisters, my fourth novel. It is set in my home town of Clare in South Australia, and features one of my favourite characters, an elderly Irishwoman called Lola Quinlan. Hi Monica, actually I don't have a question. I wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed your article on The Guardian. I was touched by the lines: "In Dublin now, if I’m homesick for Australia, I reach for an Australian novel." I left Europe and moved to Australia (for love!) recently and, when I'm homesick, I, like you, reach for a (European) novel. Thank you. What am I going to read now? One of your novels!

Hi Monica. I recently read Hello from the Gillespies and just fell in love with the entire family (particularly Ig). Like most well written books, I can't get the characters out of mind for days (even weeks) and I was wondering if you ever had any thoughts on writing a spin off from one of the Gillespie children. Perhaps Genevieve or Lindy? I now can't wait to read your other books and get caught up in the family dram
