How do you deal with writer’s block?

R.L. Keck I cannot speak for all writers, but for me the best way is to focus on the next line or scene instead of wondering how in the world I'm going to finish this novel. Once I get past the writer's cramp - as I call it - it's just a matter of staying focused on getting one sentence at a time on the page. I try not to worry about the next chapter.
Sometimes all it takes is stepping away and letting the writing muscle relax a bit. Go back after a while and start back slowly.
