How do you get inspired to write?

Ryan Speakman In 1977, when I was 10 years old, my parents took my siblings and me to an old-fashioned barn meeting to watch the 1972 End Times classic, "A Thief in the Night". The movie made quite an impression on me, and on the ride home that night I got a very strong--life-altering, in fact--impression that I would one day teach and write on the topic of the Last Days. I spent the next 22 years preparing to write; I began writing in 1999; and I finally published Part 1 of my book series on New Year's Eve 2014. Part 2 and Part 3 are written and will be published soon.
