What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Julie Wetzel The best advice I can give someone is write! The only way to get better at something is to do it. And don't just concentrate on the story or plot line. Those are important, but you need to spend some time exploring the things that are never seen in the story. Sit down and have a chat with your characters. Know their history, their like, their dislikes, and the color of their socks. It may not seem important to the story, but those little bits will shine through fleshing out the characters. As they say, the devil is in the details.
